I found a dress I loved first and then used the colors in it for everything. I have a few cupcake things but I really just went with a color scheme rather than a real theme. Her party's next weekend and I'm not sure the dress is even going to fit her!
Had her obsession with Elmo developed a little sooner I would have gone with that.

I don't have a DD, but owl themed parties are adorable, especially for a first birthday! You'll find a ton of "Look "Whooooo's" One owl invitations and ideas.

You only get to do that once (per child!)
I got plates & did coordinating balloons and cups.

I did Alice in "One"derland, but DD's name starts with an A so I changed everything to her name.

We are doing a "Summer Fun" theme for DD's 1st birthday in June.
ETA: The colors are bright pink, turquoise, and yellow. Basically, I wanted a fun backyard b-day party with kids running around, and want it to be very bright and cheerful.

Omg I love this. Dd name starts with a. She's only 3 weeks old :) but I'm keeping this in mind. Do you ha e pics or can you tell me some things you did? You can fm if you want to not high jack this thread ??

We're doing a combination of mint green stripes and pink with red hearts as accents. Not sure if that counts as a theme but everything with be based around those colors.
