DD is eating a lot less than normal
The Ped said this might happen and its no big deal and just feed on demand but she just refused the bottle after 1.5 oz. She ate about 5oz at 3:30 am, went 5 hours instead of 4 then just ate 1.5? Normally her "a lot less" means she eats 3 instead of 5 but then she will make up and eat 4/5 the next feeding. She is otherwise happy and smiley as usual. I'm pretty sure she is teething because shes biting her fingers but not crying from it.
I thought it might be that we need to change the britta filter but she also refused her her sisters bottle of rtf which she has eaten before (if she is still hungry after her own or when I accidentally gave her the wrong bottle).
I know the ped says its normal but he says everything is normal as long as they are happy  Any moms have experience with this?

Yeah, DS did that same thing too!
He usually eats 6-8oz every 3 hours. For a full week, he only ate about 4oz in a sitting. Then, yesterday he went back to 6-8 like nothing was ever wrong. It was really weird and we thought something was wrong but nope - he just decided to not be hungry for the week 
Your DD will go back to normal soon enough, i'm sure ... just be happy you're saving all that money on formula for this week

DD is eating a lot less than normal
DD used to drop her formula intake considerably when she was teething. It was actually how we knew she was getting teeth in. I would only worry if she has few wet and dirty diapers.

She still gives PLENTY of wet and dirty diapers lol. I make bottles ahead so I already wasted the formula. Good thing we just switched to the cheap stuff a few weeks ago. lol

Oh my gosh we are going through this too! She usually had 8ozs a feeding now I'm lucky if I get 6. Plus she's waking up during the night too! Probably because she's not getting enough during the day. I totally think she's teething. she sucks on her hands and everything, bites on the nipple and drools like a waterfall. Maybe your baby is teething too?

They both definitley are. They don't wake at night much but the drool and biting the fingers is constant. And loose poops. She just took 5 of the 6 (I make 6 because its just easier to measure a pitcher)

Dd is going through the same thing bc she is teething. It makes me soooooo nervous that she isn't getting enough!

Have read this happens when they are teething because the bottle irritates their gums. I would not worry unless it lasts more than a few days...

We're going through the same thing now. DS has been eating 7 oz consistently for over a month now. Now at 4 months he's suddenly not finishing atleast 2 bottles a day and leaving 3-4 oz in each.
