He says he thinks they should make new albums, that they only play the greatest hits...yet Weiland is embarking on a solo tour soon playing - yep - STP classics. (When he does, indeed, have solo albums)

I was so stoked when they got back together a few years ago. I saw them several times. But the last show I saw at the Williamsburg waterfront, it was just ok. Very Vanilla, and its because I had seen this show several times already. So, I kind of agree with him about only playing classics. But it is ironic that he goes on a solo tour and plays songs from Core and Purple. His actual solo stuff isn't bad. Actually I totally dig his xmas album. But the 1st time I saw him solo, he was 3 hours late. I have a love hate relationship with Scoot Weiland,

I had a friend that went to a concert for STP where Weiland spent the entire show sitting on a couch on stage nearly comatose.
