Daycare
Hi everyone!
My husband and I were thinking of taking our son out of the day care he's in. Can you recommend your daycare? We live in bellmore, so we are looking for something close. Do you like yours? And if you don't mind saying how much you pay.

This happened to us as well. We were in one, but due to certain events happening, we had no other choice but to pullour child. We put him somewhere ele, but i cannot say good or bad- its only been a wweek. We pay 325 a week for our nearly 7 month old. He goes for more than 40 hours a week due to our work schedules. For the past 3 1/2 years I've used Children's Nest daycare in Merrick. They are on Merrick avenue, one block south of sunrise. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They also have a second location in wantagh. We pay $1,150 a month which is a discounted rate. But if you tell them what your looking to spend they might work with you.

We used Loving and Learning in Oceanside and it was fantastic. I won't tell you prices b/c it was several years ago so they won't be the same anymore I'm sure. But if you call they'll give you the prices. I would definitely recommend it.

I believe that Harbor Child Care. They have two locations in the Mineloa area. One on Herricks Road and One on Willis Ave(just opened recently) Its located at the Willis Ave school.

I didn't realize you can work with a daycare on price. Is this standard or just an accommodation offered by some places?

I used Tracy's Playhouse in Bellmore. SHe is amazing and comes highly recommended on care.com. She still takes my kids on half days or teacher conference days now that they are in elementary school and my daughter still adores her. If your interested fm me for the info.

im sorry yes learn and play. We like it, but I wouldn't use it for a newborn. For my toddler is is just fine, dont like the newborn rooms and the staff for that room
