8 Month old stomach bug- please help!
My DD has diarrhea all day and is spitting up a little bit. She gets diarrhea after everything. As per Ped feed her binding foods and some pedialyte.
Anyone else have recommendations its really bad. She isnt keeping anything in and its explosive diarrhea destroying everything she wears.
Should i call the dr back?

Just make sure she stays hydrated - no more than 12 hrs without a wet diaper. I don't think there is much a ped can do unless she becomes dehydrated (would need fluids via iv).
Both of my boys had stomach bugs as babies. It's the worst (one was two weeks old and the other was twelve weeks old). Hang in there and I hope you don't get it.

my 2 month olds currently have a stomach bug (almost 2 weeks of constant diarrhea!).
they are taking a probiotic (florastor) and im going to start giving them soy formula for a little while till they start getting better. not much you can really do, just let it run its course.

No dairy..It prolongs the explosive diapers. Just keep doing pedialyte and even 100% white grape juice. It helps heal the intestines.. applesauce, banana's, rice cereal..

Thank you so much ladies. I hope this doesnt last the poor thing just hot over a cold. Shes been sick for a week and a half. Now this.

Poor baby like the others said just make sure she stays hydrated. Hope she feels better soon
