Rihanna Comes Clean About Romance With Chris Brown

They've recorded new music together and have shared intimate photos online, but Rihanna hasn't fully opened up about her reconciliation with boyfriend Chris Brown – until now.
The pop star, 24, finally comes clean about why she decided to get back with the singer, 23, who was charged with assaulting her in 2009, in the latest Rolling Stone cover story.
"I decided it was more important for me to be happy and I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that," she tells the magazine, which has an excerpt of the story available here. (The issue is on newsstands nationwide Friday.)
"Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake," she says. "After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."

Rihanna also reveals that even though they broke up following the assault, she still had feelings for him. "So when that s–– came back, it hit me like a ton of bricks. Like, God, you've got to be kidding right now. But I got real with myself, and I just couldn't bury what I felt."
The singer, who has released new duets with Brown including "Nobody's Business" from her last album Unapologetic, understands the world may harbor negative views towards her and Brown's rekindled relationship. But she says things have changed between the two of them.
"When you add up the pieces from the outside, it's not the cutest puzzle in the world. ... But it's different now. We don't have those types of arguments anymore," she says. "We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."

This is a total disaster waiting to happen (again), but you know what? at 24 I made my own stupid mistakes and didn't listen to everyone else because I too wanted to learn it on my own. While I personally think the two of them is completely disasterous, she's still young and lives in a world where NO ONE tells her no, so she is used to getting her way. Her life, her decisions...

Ok asshole. So instead of beating her, he's now beating up Frank Ocean in a parking garage. Gimme an F'in break she sounds like a battered woman in the last paragraph.

I feel bad for women who do not have the means to just get up and walk away from an abusive relationship. Rihanna...not so much. Hate to say it but I think she craves the negative attention and chaos.

i will probably get flammed for this but i dont see the big deal.
Let me preface by saying i think what he did was F*cked up but none of us know what really happened. How do we know she didnt hit him first and then he completely lost it ... wrong for him to lose it yes very much ... hopefully he got help and he wont do it again hopefully he continues to get help.
Hopefully she is smart enough to know if she see his behavior turing toward violence she leaves.
She has plenty of money and i am sure she can take care of herself and has plenty of people looking out for her i dont feel bad for her she knows what she is getting into.
FTR i would NEVER put up with anyone hitting me EVER ...

Because he has a looooooong record of doing this kind of stuff- and not just to his g/f behind closed doors- in public with cameras and fans in his face. He's going to beat her again, they almost always do. She'll be lucky if he doesn't kill her.

They are two damaged kids that are now in the spot light surronded by yes people and tons of money.
I tend to think she has as many issues as him.
I hope for her sake he doesn't beat her again but I think we can all agree they will not be riding off into the sunset

She def. does. She was not innocent in that original fight.....she beat him up too. While I do not give him a pass she doesn't get one either.....its not right for either of them to put their hands on the other.

I feel bad for her. She is in a situation many women find themselves in- unable to walk away from an abusive relationship. Just goes to show you money can't buy everything.
