Gymboree/Little Gym type of classes
DD is 7 months and I wanted to sign her up for something. I guess I have two questions:
1. Is it a waste of money this young? I feel like its really expensive and don't know if its worth it!
2. Are there any other places I am missing? I looked at Gymboree, Music Together, Little Gym and My Gym.
Thanks!

Re: Gymboree/Little Gym type of classes
I can't speak from experience because we didn't sign DD up for gym class until she was a year. It was just too hard to get on a regular schedule. She started taking Gymboree at a year and loved it. I switched to a local gymnastics place for the fall and she also loved that and it was way less expensive for a longer class. We are taking music together now and she loves that too. I think they'd all work for younger kids they seem to have classes centered around certain ages and milestones.
The only other place I'd suggest trying is your local gymnastic places. They have some great mommy and me type classes.

Gymboree/Little Gym type of classes
I did a My Gym class with DS over the summer. He was 13 months when we started and I don't think he would have enjoyed it if I started him any earlier. We also did a Music Together class in the fall that was fun, and there were definitely children under a year in the class who enjoyed it.

I don't know, but I love this thread, because DD is also 7 months and this has been on my mind. I was thinking of trying The Little Gym, as I have friends who started their DC's this young and loved it.

Re: Gymboree/Little Gym type of classes
We started Little Gym when DS was 6 months and he really liked it. He learned so much from being in class. Also, as a SAHM, it was valuable socializing time for me. I still do playdates with several families from our original class.
