Brody? Otherwise, what was with all the sad face after Carrie said she picked him over her job.

Re: Homeland season Finale (Spoilers!)
loved it!!!! i can't believe we have to wait for the new season now first off, love quinn!!!! i thought what he did and how he handled estes was awesome - i kill the bad guys i really hope he is back next season and is a new love interest for carrie! i also like how dana figured out the truth....so much happened last night! i really don't know what to think about the bomb - everything ran through my mind. Is it brody? is it really nasir who set it all up in adavance? is someone in the US setting brody up?? i have no idea! i really thought carrie was leaving with him, so glad she didn't and loved the end when she was calling Saul.
what are the thoughts for storyline next season? i am guessing its carrie and saul figuring out who did the bomb and trying to clear brody's name. maybe quinn helps carrie to clear brody?

Re: Homeland season Finale (Spoilers!)
Such a good episode!!
My husband is convinced Saul isn't all that he appears.
I'm still hoping for a Quinn/Carrie love story next season. I think he really cares for her!

Re: Homeland season Finale (Spoilers!)
Loved it!!! I don't think Brody put the bomb in his car. He had no reason to notify Carrie that his car was moved. He seemed genuinely perplexed that his car was moved.
Regarding Quinn- I think he is going to feel so guilty for not killing Brody- thinking Brody did it- that he will make it his mission to hunt him down. Meanwhile, Carrie will make it her mission to exonerate him. Saul will have a difficult choice determing what to believe.
I love Saul!! I hope he is as good as he appears to be!! It doesn't hurt that I have loved Mandy Pitankin forever and have sevearl of his broadway sountracks.

I agree. Saul seemed to benefit the MOST from the bomb. First, he wasn't there; Estes is dead; he is now acting head of CIA; his wife is coming home. I don't know. I loved him, but now I'm skeptical.
I don't think it was Brody either. Why would he even acknowledged his car was moved?
I wonder if next season will just start with a completely new storyline (ie: no Brody). Kinda hoping it does. Where else could this storyline go now?
LOVED IT.

Re: Homeland season Finale (Spoilers!)
Awesome, shocking episode! The writing on this show is incredible.
I didn't think it was Brody but really...why was he so sad when she told him she picked him? BUT...the only reason he left was because Carrie summoned him AND he seemed surprised that his car had moved. However, Carrie's initial instinct was that it was him and she is usually spot on. I can't believe they killed Estes off the show. I'm glad Carrie didn't go with him. I was having a problem with that whole storyline.

Re: Homeland season Finale (Spoilers!)
Do you think Quinn put that bomb in there because he really is a mole? Thats why he insisted on not killing Brody.. When he saw Brody praying he realized he was still loyal to the muslim beliefs so he let him go.. He didnt want to kill him because he is one of them ..
He probably needed to use his tape and car to make it look like Brody was involved still.. But sacfiiced him at the service .. (or this was the whole plan all along) Brody was still suicide bombing .. Maybe Quinn spoke to him at the house and told him the mission has t be completed .. And he probably thought carrie was going to choose her career over him anyway.. When he heard her say that upstairs he got second thoughts and tryed to save them.. just a thought.. I hope it makes sense what I am tryng to say

This is exactly what DH and I were saying. Quinn popped into my mind almost right away. When Carrie got back from town and was looking for Brody all around the house, when she finally found him he had that nervous look to him. Maybe Quinn did approach him?

Ohhh and that whole thing with Mike.. He was saying goodbye..
ETA: I just read this somehere which confirms I may be right about Quinn.. Just another fan's opinion but it was exactly what i was saying
"I think Quinn is the mole and could be working with Brody. 1. Quinn survived the assault on the tailor shop and was wounded (classic strategy to reduce suspicion) 2. Quinn ran the op to capture Nazir at the abandoned factory. He failed the first time and then was reluctant to listen to Carrie and send in a second team. 3. He was at the cabin on Estes' orders but that was not his real purpose. He was making sure Brody was loyal to the cause. Notice he had Brody in his sights (literally) until he sees him praying on the shore. And we don't get to see if he interacted w/ Brody afterwards. I'm not convinced Brody was in on it - Quinn may have only been watching to take out Brody if he was going to run w/ Carrie and not attend the funeral. Also - who threatens the head of the CIA in their home and doesn't worry about the consequences? A person who knows Estes will be dead the next day anyway"

I'm loving this theory! Very possible! I forgot about the beer he had with Mike.

Re: Homeland season Finale (Spoilers!)
I'm really liking Quinn so I hope he isn't a traitor.
I thought it was strange that Brody looked so sad when Carrie said she was leaving the CIA for him, but if he really is responsible for the bomb wouldn't he make sure to die in the blast?
I really don't know what to believe, and that's why I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. I can't believe the season is over already.

This is what i am leaning towards too. But I love the twists and turns of this show. Never sure which way it is going to go.
