Recommend your playpen!
Preferably under $100. Also, how long did your DC use it? DS is almost 7 months old - will he get good use out of it?
TIA

Re: Recommend your playpen!
After registering for a pack n play with all the bells and whistles that was a PITA to put together and returning it, I purchased very inexpensive Graco I think it was $69. DS and 2 and still naps in it at times and I use it to "contain him if I am alone and have to use the bathroom

Same here. No bells and whistles. I got a $70ish pack n play that had a newborn napper I never used. It basically stays at my parents for DS to sleep in when hes there.

We got two gates and put them together to form a big play area. We used it for awhile - even as DS started walking. I think the gates were by Summer Infant - they had a cloth/netting on them.

I also have the Graco travel pack and play. It was about $70 at BBB. Love it!

This is exactly what I did too! You can make a pretty large or small play area depending on how much room you have. I liked this a lot better than a pack and play because I also stored her toys in there.
