Homeland 12/9 - spoilers
What did you all think?
The coming attractions make it look like Brody's going to die, but I wonder if the body they were putting out to sea is Nazir and Brody will use his government influence to get him a proper burial. He could justify it by saying it would prevent controversy and bad press.
Or maybe it is someone else?
There was lots of suspension of disbelief with the world's most wanted terrorist hiding out in an abandoned building and duking it out with a CIA agent with no apparent backup except for a possible mole, which I'm still not sure there is.
Other thoughts?

I think the burial at sea is def. Nasir. I think that Quinn will struggle with taking out Brody but ultimately will - where else can they take his story line?
I think that Quinn won't take out Carrie with Brody, and that next season she & Sol will work together to bring down Estes.

Ageed! Definately Nasir. I think they "bury" terrorist's bodies at sea so there is no gravesites for sympathizers to gather.
Good call about going after Estes next year. What seems to keep ringing out to me during the last few episodes is that Quinn keeps asking Carrie if she trusts him. Why does he care? Is he going to use that "trust" to have Carrie lure Brody to his death....or maybe Quinn will have a change of heart and throw Brody in witness protection.

I love this show but the entire scene in the warehouse was ridiculous. Like that one special ops guy would go into a bunker alone when Carrie has no weapon and back up was only a few feet away. He could have reached them by the handy dandy microphone that was in his face the entire time.

I think Quinn will wound Brody enough to "warn" him so he knows he's in danger and not be so brazen with Carrie.
Anyone else feel like they squeezed a six year series into two? I thought Nasir's storyline would go on a lot longer than that. I worry that the ensuing plot changes won't be as good.
Gotta say though, I'm glad Brody and his wife broke it off. I was getting tired of that.

Awww come on, it goes along with the fact that you can control someone's pacemaker over the internet.

yes! i definitely think they are setting something up...i think the body is nasir's. i do think quinn is going to try and kill brody - going to be hard with carrie around! i feel like brody will die (what else will they do with his storyline anyway if nasir is dead??) and agree carrie will go after estes and quinn for the death. i don't think she can go back to CIA and now Sol is out too - so they will work together.

i definitely think that the body going into the water is Nazir's. I have no idea where else they can take this story line but I just don't think they are going to kill Brody, at least not for a while. I still think that they are going to shock us with something he may know or be involved in. I do think that Carrie will find out about the attempted killing and she will team with Saul to go against Estes. I also agree that Quinn seems to have something for Carrie so I am really interested in where that goes. As someone mentioned, Quinn is constantly asking Carrie if she trusts him, so I think he knows a lot more than they have given us yet.
The whole warehouse scene was kind of eh to me. Carrie was there with some random agents chit chatting and walking through the tunnels. I would have much rather it be Quinn or any of those guys. The last 2 seasons have been about Nazir and boom, random agents shoot him and that's it. I don't know. Interrogating him and coming face to face with him would have been a lot more interesting but I am sure they have something up their sleeve

I can not wait for next week.. I dont think they are killing Brody for a while . If at all.. I do think Saul will tell carrie about the assination and they will stop it some how..
