when did you stop using your angelcare monitor?

My ds turned one 2 weeks ago and has recently been moving around so much in his sleep that he ends up flat against the side of the crib so the monitor can't pick him up. Well its gone off 3 times the past week and when I've went in there to check he sees me, freaks out and wint go back to sleep (at super early hours!). My husband says we don't need it anymore but the beeping helps me sleep haha. When did you stop using yours? If I do stop...is there a way to still use it to see the temperature without using the alarm? Or can I disable the alarm from going off in his room at all? Thanks!

We stopped around 9 months or so when she was sleeping at the end of the crib and we had a few false alarms. I believe there is a way to just use it as an audio monitor

just unplug the pad.. the temp and sound will work just no beeps. AJ is 4 and its STILL on! its nice to hear her if she's coughing really bad or can't sleep because of allergies, or listen to her wake up and play in her room. i love it!

But yes there's a way to shut off the pad.. its been 2yrs since I've done it so you may have to google it. but it can be done.

we stull use it...just turned off the movement pad.

I think I stopped using it at 15-18months with both boys when I transitioned them to their toddler bed.

Even though it beeped at night I felt comfort in knowing if something was wrong I'd hopefully get them in time.
