Second child gifts...
I have two boys 25 months apart. Everything from DS1 is in great condition. Clothes, toys, etc. They are 3.5 and 16 months. I don't know what to tell people to get him. We have lots of toys for them and DS 2 rerally has so much clothes. DS1 is easy bc he's into certain things and also needs clothes, etc. DS2 likes everything DS1 has anyway.
What do you get for a kid that already has so much or they play the same stuff? Obviously DS 1 will get some more age appropriate games as well and stuff for his Leappad.
Any suggestions? We are not spending a fortune this holiday since we have a big family that gets them a lot. I tell people don't spend a lot either. They're young and happy with coloring books too. Plus, we also want to give money to charities. Just need some suggestions. Thanks

Re: Second child gifts...
I am in the same boat. 2 girls, 23 months apart. The baby is not even 7 months though so I just tell family things like teething toys, pajamas, bath toys. Things that need to be replaced from time to time anyway.
Other ideas of things that need to be replaced over time: -sheets -craft supplies -kiddie towels/washcloths -bath toys -fun plates/utensils etc.
Nothing TOO exciting lol.

I would get trains (geotrax, thomas, chuggington) or Cars cars. There are so many different ones that I am sure your first son does not have them all.
Lego duplos are fantastic toys and you can always add to them with other sets.
Board games (twister, hungry hungry hippos, zingo, memory). If the younger one puts things in his mouth I would hold off on the hippos though.
Balls
Art supplies (stickers, play dough).
Do they have a play kitchen? Alternatively a pretend play tool set?
Books?
