Anyone see Heidi Klum in Lindenhurst?
She was supposed to be at the tree lighting today giving out toys to children affected by the storm. I wanted to go but had another obligation.

It was HORRIBLE. I live in Lindy and go every year to the tree lighting. The mob was unbelievable. And then they passed over traditions that have been going on for over 80 years (the singing of O Tannenbaum).
And then, her trucked pulled up with toys for community kids and the paparazzi and mob was so scary. So many kids got nothing. It was so sad.

Wow, that's really terrible. Maybe celebs need to not try to help in the way of public appearances (aka publicity stunts).

Yeah..I mean, the gesture was nice but it was just so badly organized. I've never seen so many sad, crying children. And my son almost was trampled in a stampede.
I honestly think they shouldn't have publicized it beforehand. I suspect most of the people there weren't residents.
