I was wondering the same thing.

it's one thing to not help you with the responsibilities, but it's another to blow off your screaming child while you watch tv.....

Not to dismiss his lack of involvement but some guys just dont know what to do with little babies. I'm hoping that as she gets older and more interactive he will start enjoying her. In the mean time I would keep involving him . When you both get home start a play routine that involves all three of you. Make sure he has a role in her bedtime routine make it something that DD enjoys so he gets a taste of the fun and not just the work. Keep him involved in everyday care and play. He will come around.

ITA. I didn't get to read the original post but I believe i have the gist of it from the responses. Ways DH is involved is helping with bath time which can be playful. DD loves her bath! And also we lay in bed with her in the middle and she kicks and coos, we do tummy time and just play with her. I think it's a good way to keep us together and bond as a family
