songs for slideshow
my sister is making me a slideshow for DD's 1st b-day and she asked me for songs. I am drawing a blank, any suugestions??
A little background - it took me 5 years, 2 m/c, 4 failed IUI's and 2 failed IVF's to finally have DD. And she is named after my mom who passed away from breast cancer 9 years ago.

I love the song "You Make Me Smile" by Uncle Kracker. I also like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Also "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. And maybe a Michael Buble song...well just because I love Michael Buble!! I hope this helps!!

I used my wish (rascal flatts), smile (uncle kracker) and everything (Michael buble)it was over 10 minutes with all 3 songs.

I just did this for my DD's 1st bday. I used "I saw God Today" by George Strait. It's a country song and a bit religious but there were quite a few tears (from both the men and women) shed throughout. Great song imo.

I love the Neil Young verzion of Forever Young. It's the one in the opening credits of Parenthood. We used it and it was really nice as one of the songs in the slideshow.
