Anyone have a lot of teachers to give to?
I have to give to six teachers, the daycare owner, and DDs OT therapist. It's A LOT! I would love to be able to give the teachers much more than I'll be able to, but I just can't with that many to give to. It bothers me so much because I really appreciate and value the work they do with DD.
If you have a lot of teachers to give to, what are you planning to give?

I have 7 teachers. I plan to give $25 AMEX cards to all.
We live in DC though. This seems to be the norm around here. I would probably double it in NYC.

you just made me feel much better  not in NYC but on long isalnd last year i gave $30 plus another gift to each teacher. I was going to do $50 but my friends convinced me to do less

DS has had two feeding therapy session and is scheduled to have one more before the end of the year. He has 5 more sessions for next year and thats it. Should I give his therapist a tip? What do I give?

Last year was my first year with teachers. I had no idea and originally had $100 in my head, then NY people seemed to think $50 was fine. Then people down here said $25 was the norm.

I have 2 kids in school, one in elementary school and one in nursery school.
Older DC:
- Teacher is getting a $25 gift card.
- Other teachers DC only sees once a week- art, music, computers, gym, and library- are getting a small token gift in the $5 to $10 range, like a small box of candy or hot cocoa or something
Younger DC:
- Teacher and teacher's assistant are getting $25 gift card
- Dance teacher is getting maybe $20 Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks card
- Speech therapist is getting $20 hand lotion set
It really adds up!!!!!!!
