If you buy thomas the train...
where are the best prices to get the trains? We got DS a Melissa and Doug train set for Chanukah, but I would like to get a few Thomas trains to go with it since he loves Thomas. I've been looking online and all are pretty expensive. Where do you get them - store or online? Also, do they sell any multipacks? Just looking to get a few of the more popular ones he's into like Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon.
Thanks!

This is how we've stocked our train table, as well. There's always a mom who has a DS outgrowing Thomas and looking to unload the tracks plus the trains.

Re: If you buy thomas the train...
i bought one at Barnes and Noble yesterday (at least in the big one near me there is a huge childrens section at the back with a train table.) The train I bought was $11.99 which isnt terrible. Toys R us is more.
we bought the imaginarium train table and tracks/set up from someone on CL in our area. It was literally brand friggan new, and included all the tracks, trains..for $80...i was so excited to score that!!
definitely keep an eye out on CL.

Re: If you buy thomas the train...
Amazon has them. We also buy on ebay sometimes. Just make sure that you are buying real ones as they do sell fakes on Ebay. DH just found a brand new in package Talking Gordon on ebay yesterday, with shipping it was $10.

Re: If you buy thomas the train...
Thanks, everyone. I don't have an AC Moore near me, so I'll try the other suggestions.

We have a ton from toys r us, the Thomas store in stratsburg etc. , but my biggest score was about 20 rip-offs from china on Ebay. I think that was $40 or so.
