It was great if you like computer animated babies 
LOL- It was really good because of the "twist." I laughed through the first hour because the Vampire acting was so bad it was almost spoof-like.

I loved it and thought it was the best out of all of them. I loved the little twist at the end, but agree that the beginning was a little slow. I like that they paid homage to the past actors throughout the series - it made it really final.

I get that some parts came off a little cheesey, but honestly that's the way it was in the books exactly. And if they didn't put those parts in (no matter how cheesey), Twihards would have been RABID.
It was by far the BEST of all of them and I LOVED it. The twist was fantastic- I loved it. They got to have their cake and eat it, too. 
ETA: The girl who played Renesmee was absolutely gorgeous.

Kristen Stewart said in an interview that they didn't take any liberties with the book. That is true.
They DID remain true to the book, but there is some extra in there (which is still part of the story in the book)
It's hard to explain without giving it away.

That's the big old question, huh? My friend asked me the same thing. The only thing I could say was this: if you read the books, don't worry, you won't be disappointed. I promise!
Anything more will ruin it! You just have to go see it.

what was with Rennesme!?! why was she computer generated? and they showed her mostly from the back or the neck up...it was very distracting bec that was all I could concentrate on...
Not until the final scene was the actress really her..in the field...but in the house scenes why did they do that..her eyes were freaking me out?!?!

Am I the only one (along with the 12 other women that I saw the movie with) that totally thought it completely SUCKED??
Besides the "fight scene", I thought the movie was so damn boring. The "love" scene was so damn lack-luster. The acting was pathetic. It was such a snooze-fest. 
This is coming from a "twihard"...and a large group of us too. We all thought it was the worst of the whole series.
Wake me up when 50 Shades hits the big screen!

In the book she is unlike any other infant, behaves very definitely from your typical "human" baby so therefore they had to use computer generation to show how unique she is. Creepy, but I think they did the best they could.

The little girl version of Rennesme (the one that looked like 7ish for the fight with speaking parts) was the real actress. I think she is beautiful Mackenzie Foy
The rest of the ages on IMDB all have an actress assigned to it including the adult one...IDK the digital baby was strange. LOL
The movie was just eh. I thought the twist was stupid and that they should have just followed the book.

Lets face it the acting in ALL the movies was sub-par so I came in with low expectations. I think they ended the story in a great way.
