Re: Does anyone use Alimentum formula that's not covered
We did. DS was on Alimentum until he was 10 months. We purchased it at BJ's sometimes and sometimes purchased it off someone who we found on Craigslist. I was weary of Craigslist at first but they guy sold us completely sealed bottles in their original sealed cardboard box. His DD didn't need it anymore but they had had it covered by ins. Worked for us. Saved a lot this way. DS would drink 32oz/day.

Isn't it state law that insurance cover it if a doctor says its medically necessary? I was looking into this when we thought we were going to have to switch DD. if I'm not mistaken, New York State requires insurers to cover this?

Re: Does anyone use Alimentum formula that's not covered
Thank you! I am sorry I was writing this quickly before. i was actually trying to see if there was anyone who was not covered because I have some extra formula from DD that I'd like to give away and was wondering if I could help someone out who is currently paying for it. People keep telling me to sell it but I don't feel right about that. I guess I could always take it to my dr. as well.
