nintendo ds or 3ds
My 5 year old in starting to get into video games. Which is more appropriate? Differences?
Opinions if you have either.

nintendo ds or 3ds
I am getting my son thr 3ds xl, mainly because the ds he has now is starting to have screen failure. However I am choosing this one because its the newest one on the market and he can still play his old ds games on it. He is also getting a kitchen timer as a gift so he can manage time spent playing games.

3DS...all DS games play on the 3DS but 3DS games don't play on the regular DS. The new games that are coming out are for the 3DS
You can turn the 3D part off...my kids do by choice.
