Favorite Books 6 months-1 year
Looking for some suggestions for books good for 6 months- 1 year olds. Or just favorite picture books they can grow into... TIA.

Any Karen Katz books. They are short colorful and cute. Plus, it's a flip book and usually kids love to pull up the pages.

DD loves this set. The pictures are so bright and it has big flaps that she can lift.

A Cuddle for Little Duck has been my girls favorite book. I have found it is perfect! The amount of words on the page, illustrations and rhyming are great for that age group.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See by Eric Carle..DD also likes the Mo Willems cat the cat books and Clifford as well as Pete the Cat

Pat the Bunny. As she got older, she was able to figure out how to do the stuff on more and more of the pages, it was great.
Sandra Boynton books - esp. Pajama Time, The Going to Bed Book, and Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs.
Books with flaps for her to lift up - Where is Baby's Belly Button is a good one.

I'm a teacher and I use scholastic book clubs in my classroom. I have spent a fortune on books for DS! I get him a lot of the board books they have in there. I bought him for Thanksgiving five silly turkeys that is a board book but has fabric feathers on the end. I have bought him the Karen Katz books "where is baby's belly button" and also a Halloween one that is "where is baby's pumpkin" Ds loves the board books because he can play with them and put them in his mouth and they don't get soggy. DS is 8 months (6 months adjusted)

Disney Best Friends
They have a few types and I think we'll get him the Mickey one for the holidays.
He takes it off his bookshelf and sits on my lap. All I do is turn the page and say they name of the main character. Turn page, repeat. He has the attention span of a gold fish.
