Re: Furby

I heard they'll go on sale around holidays. BJs has it too and someone said they will be on sale next week.
We got one for my DD couple of weeks ago but ended up returning it after exchanging it 2x. Not only did it keep shutting down and needed to be reset for no reason (pain in the neck) , but it has to be one of the most annoying toys I have ever seen, lol. Turns out it's a moody little fella and not something DH wanted around DD Chat Icon
Even my DD got tired of it and said she didn't like / want it any more , this was after her begging us to get Furby for months and months.

Re: Furby

Thanks for the info!

DS has been bugging us for one for Christmas. If rather spend the money on a scooter or something more educational. Not a huge fan- it looks annoying, for adults LOL

When the Furby was first popular years ago I had one. Cute at first, annoying thereafter. The thing DOES NOT SHUT UP! lolol

If you can sway your DS against having one and that a scooter is soo much cooler than a furby, you will be thanking me.

I just can't get over the fact that this toy is $45 - $55. I had one when I was younger and man it was annoying.

I had the original one when i was younger. I hated that thing. I wouldn't shut up. It talked at random times during the night. Creepy and annoying.

Re: Furby

I still have an original one, in the box. I bought it when I worked in target, just because I could, it was such a hot item. Chat Icon

Furby

Im that kid who saw the Furby and thought WHY would I want an annoying thing like that in my house... ever.

I never asked for one, they never got me one, I was happy. It was all the rage and my peers made fun of me for being uncool and not having one etc. That was over within a year. A few tried to keep up for the sake of looking cool. But frankly I can't believe its BACK!

and don't you know??? My hubby was rubbing the box of one like 'aaaahhhh, oooooh' .. pfft. I don't think so.

But to the original question, our grocery store has them in piles and piles and they were less than $45 last I checked.
