Need volunteers in Lindenhurst post-hurricane!
Adopt A House needs your help! If you are local and available today(Saturday) please meet us at starting 10am. We are dispersing small groups to visit door to door the hardest hit areas. Volunteers will be given a checklist and will collect information on what each house needs. This will enable us to get the supplies and donations into the hands of the people who need it! We will also need people to sort supplies and donations. Friend us on Facebook, we are "Adopt A House". If you can't come help but would like to donate or help in another way, contact [email protected].
If you have would like to offer manpower (helping with cleanup, moving things, etc) to a home, contact [email protected].
Otherwise, we hope to see some of you today at Shore Road Park, located three blocks west of the Wellwood and Shore Road intersection. Thanks everyone, its going to be a super-productive and amazing day to move the town forward and towards a better future!
