Toys for 2 month olds for holidays?

Any recommendations? Should we get a few things they can use later around 6 months?

I would get things you need for the future, i.e. a high chair, exersaucer.

Re: Toys for 2 month olds for holidays?

DD loved this snail when she was younger and still loves it at 6 months. It plays lights and music at the slightest touch so it was really the first toy she could "work". And she knew she was causing it to work too.Chat Icon Now that she's sitting up she plays it like a drum.

Other than that, I wouldn't go crazy. You could get some small teethers, rattle, those lovey blankets, the lamaze toys are great, any crinkly toys, plastic or fabric books. I plan to get one big gift and a few small things since I figure DD will be spoiled by our families and friends and I can't afford an addition on my house to store it all!

Edited bc I forgot the link.

I would get toys up to a year old b/c you don't really have any other big holidays befor their birthdays to get toys for kwim?

I would get a music/activity table
Stuff they can roll around with-dd loved the, I think it was Lamaze, caterpillar. She used to roll around with it
Maybe a push toy- dd was walking at 91/2 months so by 6 months she was all over and trying to pull up and stuff.

If I think of more I will post

I would get things for the summer like a water/sand table, and the step2 whisper ride buggy.

We have all those. I saw a play mat with a boppy like pad and a mirror that might work. We already have a play mat so idk if we need both.

Thanks everyone!! I'm bookmarking these for holiday shopping. With the snow I'm really getting into the holiday spirit.
