Went for my level II today
I am 19 weeks 3 days and we still have no idea if we want to stay team or not. We didn't find out with DS, and we loved that It's A Boy! moment in the delivery room. So, we had the tech write the gender on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. It is sitting on top of the TV and we STILL don't know what to do! Those who did both, did you regret finding out before the day you delivered? I have a very strong feeling, but I did with DS too!

Re: Went for my level II today
With my twins I loved finding out in the delivery room. I also had the envelope and kept it sealed. I don't know what I would do if we have another. I have so much girl stuff now and my free time is so much more precious for buying stuff on sale and sorting through what I have. I think in the long run I would stay green though.

Re: Went for my level II today
I found out for DD #1.....it was exciting because she was my first. I didn't find out with the twins because I knew it would be a c-section and I wanted an element of surprise. It was very exciting to hear "it's a girl" two times over. I think people guessing along the way and the anticipation makes it a little more exciting especially the 2nd time around.

Re: Went for my level II today
team with #1
team with #2-due in March
i never had a doubt in my mind. I never wanted to know until I delivered. It's so exciting. I love having people guess, as well as myself. I don't mind not being "prepared" for the baby. For #1 we had a few neutral outfits and then we had so many gifts after she was born.
it's exciting either way, but for I am
all the way

Re: Went for my level II today
IMO, if you WANT it to be a particular sex (a girl, for example), find out early so that you don't have a delivery room "let down". I've seen them happen... Even when the parents don't want to admit it.
It sounds wrong to want one sex over the other, but I really wanted a girl for my first. Had a boy. Love him to death... But there was a little sadness that came with knowing no dresses, no hair, no princesses. I'm glad it happenned early.
Only now that I have one of each sex, could I personally think about doing a surprise at birth. But this is all so personal. I think about if a had a third... Would be a pair of brothers or sisters! So much fun!
Good luck either way: a baby is life's most wonderful thing.

Thanks everyone! For now, we are not opening the envelope. But that may change between now and the end of March.

I loved being surprised with both. After the first delivery room experience, I couldn't imagine doing it any other way.

Re: Went for my level II today
I have on 1 LO and we stayed
However I have a friend that was for her 1st and found out for her 2nd. She said if she had a 3rd she'd stay because it was so much more exciting to find out in the delivery room.

I ink it's exciting either way. I loved finding out. It was a super exciting moment for us. In the delivery room it's exciting to meet and hold the baby I imagine the "it's a ..." moment is amazing, but I needed to know.

Re: Went for my level II today
I didn't find out with DD, but did with DS (#2). I personally liked finding out better than being surprised in the delivery room- and I wanted a girl the first time, which is what I got. I also think with #2, it's a bit more pracitical to find out- so you can clean stuff out, etc. and see what new things you may need.

Went for my level II today
I didn't find out with DS but everyone said I was having a boy. And I mean everyone!!! So when they said it's a boy I felt like I wasn't even surprised! I will find out for the next one.

Re: Went for my level II today
We have four and each one was a surprise! I just love the feeling of finding out and then be able to hold my baby at that instant! Plus to me, it makes the pregnancy more exciting with everyone guessing...and everyone seems to anticipate the birth so much more!
