Re: all free and clear?
I;ve used the generic Kirkland free and clear since birth for my baby without a problem. I buy it at costco, so I'm not sure about BJs

how come you werent crazy about it?
if it smells good does that mean it has extra fragrances/additives? i like detergents that smell yummy too but i just figured it's easier to start off with a free and clear one.

I use the purex free and clear. I think the all didn't get sudsy enough or something...

Yeah, thats the point, the free&clear don't have any good smells because they don't add perfumes or dyes.
Been using different free&clear brands since DD was born...

I guess I'm just really not a smell free detergent person. I feel like my clothes go in smelling one way and come out the exact same way. Like they aren't getting clean or something IDK. I also feel like the all baby has gotten stains out better.

Yes and Yes
I've been using All Free and Clear for years, since DS was an infant. I love it. Dreft smells great, as do other detergents, but smells = added fragrances and those can be irritating on babies' skin.

Yes, it's fine. It's all I have ever used since the moment DD was born...........and we still use it now at age 4. It's cheap and works great.

All detergents are HE detergents. They aren't supposed to suds up as much.
I like baby smell too, but DS has sensitive skin so I couldn't use it.

Re: all free and clear?
I have always used either ALL free & clear or TIDE free & clear - now that i buy at BJ's they have the ALL. Sometimes i add a dash of Wisk which smells great and leaves just a tiny hint of smell. Never been into Dreft - my mother gets itchy from it so I never really got into it....

Re: all free and clear?
Yup totally fine. We use whichever free and clear is on sale. Or dreft or baby soap if that's on sale.
