any sentimental mommas keep the hair from your dc's 1st haircut?
if you did, how did you store it?  just gave ds his 1st haircut and he was so sad seeing all his hair fall off. comfort nursed him afterwards and he reached up to touch my bangs that were hanging off my forehead!  poor baby....
edit: also did you clean the hair before putting the hair away in storage?

Absolutely!!! I took my DD to Kids Cuts for her first haircut and they kept some of her hair in a little tiny plastic ziploc attached to a "My First Haircut" certificate. I put it in her baby box.

Absolutely!!! I took my DD to Kids Cuts for her first haircut and they kept some of her hair in a little tiny plastic ziploc attached to a "My First Haircut" certificate. I put it in her baby box.
Same but I put it her Scrap book which I have yet to get too! lol

Took AJ to Sharkey's Cuts for Kids got a certificate and a ziplock of her first hair cut AND A photo! LOL

I saved a clip of hair from all 4 kids. They are in a zip lock baggie in a memory box inside my fire resistant safe..

yes, a tiny bit taped to the certificate that the salon gave us.
eta: otherwise i would have taped it into the baby book directly

I am 27 and my mom still has my first hair clipping too My mom is 52 and has her first hair clipping too! Both ours are in our baby books.

Yup, saved in a ziplock bag and will do the same when my younger son gets his first haircut (which might be around age 15, given his lack of hair!). My mom still has my hair from my first haircut.
