ques about hot water if power goes out?
We have natural gas for heat, hot water, clothes dryer, and stove. Will I still have hot water if we lose power? My dryer will heat but not turn because that part is electric, and my oven won't light without a match but I can cook if needed. I'm scratching my head about hot water though....as long as the heater's pilot light stays lit, we shld have hot water for showers, right? And even if the pilot light goes out, cant I manually re-light with a match?

Yes if you have a standing, flame pilot, you will have hot water as long as it stays lit
