Moms who made their own Baby Food-Please COme In

Just wondering when you stopped "pureeing" /blending DC;s food, especially leafy greens?

. I always made batches of mixed purees.. but it seems DD (10 months) is handling textures better now so I am thinking of just giving everything to her chopped.. I am ok with like chicken, and fruits .. but certain veggies, I dont know how to give to her.. like spinach, and kale.. they seem too stringy to just chop them up..

?

DS is 11 months & I think I'm about done w/the baby bullet. DS is basically refusing anything he can't pick up and eat by himself. The past few days I've been chopping up & giving him his food so he can feed himself. I'm also steaming & chopping fruits & veggies for him since he wont eat anything otherwise.

I think you'll be fine w/the stringy veggies also. DH had been giving DS broccoli rabe for months. DS has been fine & LOVES it.

There were some foods that just took a few times to get used to. He gagged a few times, even vomited once or twice :/

DS is 8 months old and we stopping pureeong about 3 weeks ago. He loves the chunkier texture. We just use a fork or masher after the foods are steamed or baked. For mangos, we give it such a fine chop.
