Re: Silly question about shaking medicine
I personally think that when you move it around it is getting shaken. Also, do you get enough drops right away? I am always having to fill it and then pour some back in and fill it again. I feel like that is mixing it too. Its only been 2 days I am sure its fine.

Actually, it doesn't. When medications say "Shake Well" that is what it means because the active ingredient settles to the bottom.
I wouldn't worry about 2 days...just continue shaking from here on out.

Re: Silly question about shaking medicine
It's probably like shaking a Snapple before you drink it. All the "stuff" settles on the bottom and you want to mix it in.
Just start shaking it from now on.
Actually, it's become a ritual at my house - I hand it to DD (13 months) and she shakes it for me like a rattle and squeals with laughter each time, so proud that she's helping. It's so cute.
