Is this enough food for a party 3:30-5:30?

I'm hosting a small halloween party at our house for DS's preschool class. We expect 7 kids and have 2 maybes. It is a casual get together, nothing fancy. Party will be 3:30-5:30.

Is this enough food?

Subway platter (says serves 5-9 people)
2 pizzas
Chips
Fruit
Pumpkin Pie

We are actually heading to another Halloween party at 6 after our party that will have a full fledged meal.

I would nix the subway platter and just get 3 pies and maybe a mixed salad

I personally hate pizza! I thought the parents could have sandwiches and the kids would eat pizza?

i think what you're planning is perfect! you can ask the pizza place to slice the pizza into 16th's for the kids!

I think it should be plenty. I would also skip the subway platter, add 1 pizza and make a salad instead.

I always serve salad and/or a veggie platter and no one ever eats it!

I forgot to put it in the original post but I also bought carrot sticks and pizza flavored string cheese for the kids.

I would also add cupcakes if you can. Easy to make (or even buy the minis at the supermarket..they are so good!)

ETA: If it were me, I would also nix the subway platter and add pizza. I feel like pizza is almost always a safe bet.

Should I swap out the pumpkin pie for cupcakes?

We have 4 Halloween parties this weekend including the one we are hosting. I thought the kids would have too much sweets.

I enjoy cupcakes more than the kids. I will gladly get them.
