How do I get the nanny to stay until I have the baby?
I work part-time, 2 days a week and have a nanny come to the house to watch DD. This one just started in September. I am due with DC #2 on April 25 and haven't told my nanny yet because I fear there will be no incentive to stay at a job where you know you won't be long-term.
She is very trustworthy and reliable, I don't have any character issues that make me think she'd jet, I'm just assuming normal human nature
Someone suggested a bonus if she stays until the end which seems awkward to propose. I also thought about paying her until a certain date no matter when the baby decides to come.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Yes, in the fall, but she's a grad student so there is only a small chance her schedule will coincide with mine next year, I'm not banking on her for the fall but if it happened that would be nice too.

I think that if this job is working for her now - schedule wise and everything - I don't think she would just up and leave. April is still far away and she might take the approach that she will deal with it then, ya know. It's probably hard to find jobs that work with her school schedule to begin with so I wouldn't assume she would quit right away. Good luck!

Tell her that you love her, you are expecting another child and will increase her pay, but want a commitment from her so that you are not stuck without her late in your pregnancy. I'd also keep her when baby 2 is born... You may need the help.
Try to coincide your schedules. There is some play in the day classes are scheduled and you may be able to work your own schedule.
