booster for an escape artist?
My DS is an absolute escape artist.
We have the Britax convertible car seat... Marathon or Blvd (I forget) and he takes his arms out from the top of the seat restraint every time we get in the car. I've tried making it so tight, we can hardly buckle it & tighter after we buckle it: he still takes it right off his arms. He shifts the chest buckle down and wiggles out. I have a Houdini on my hands with a 2.5 yr old brain!
NOW, our little girl is going to go into the convertible car seat & we can get the boy a booster with 5 pt restraint (he's over 30 lbs).
WHICH ONE DO WE GET?
There must be other people who have had this problem? How'd ya solve it?
I drive a LOT with the kids & am willing to spend the extra $$ for a great seat.

Re: booster for an escape artist?
My cousin use to do that.. So her mom took a diaper pin and put it under the buckle on one side so she couldn't push it down... May not be the best solution but it worked.. We have the Graco Nautilus and a True Fit and DS can and has done the same thing... I don't think there is any seat out there that is 100% toddler proof... Good luck
