Nanny's perfume.....
How do I tactifully and politely ask our nanny to tone down the perfume? I'm on maternity leave and she comes to help out a few days and I have a headache the moment she walks in. It's so heavy that my girls reak of the perfume after she holds them and even after I bathe them! Even my couch cushions smell.
When we first hired her (2 years ago) we had this issue and I lied and told her DD1 had very sensitive skin and we prefer no one wear too much fragrance around her. Clearly she's forgotten that conversation.
Honestly it's not even a bad perfume...in small doses.

Re: Nanny's perfume.....
How old are your kids? Maybe you can have one of them do the dirty work?
I would just politely tell her that the perfume is a little strong and that it's making your allergies act up or some other little white lie so as not to look too mean. lol

Re: Nanny's perfume.....
Tell her you have been getting a lot of headaches and your doctor has asked you to eliminate anything with a fragrance which doesn't mean you are eliminating her but you have to eliminate her perfume. Good luck - I hate when my kids smell of someone's perfume or cologne - yeuch!
