Xpost from pregnancy coxsackie and pregnancy
I just got back from the pediatrician and they think my dd#1 might have coxsackie.....I'm sure dd#2 will get it but now I'm nervous about me and the pregnancy....anyone have experiences with being pregnant and one of their kids having this? Tia

I had it when DD#1 gave it to me and I was pregnant with DD#2. My OB was not the least concerned. I onky got a horrific sore throat no fever.

Thank you..I'm just scared because I'm so early pregnancy wise...didn't even have my 8wk appt yet....I didn't call my obgyn maybe I should?

I was surrounded by an outbreak of it in my home daycare when I was 37 weeks pregnant with dd2. My ob wasn't concerned. My dd1 got it when my dd2 was only 6 days old and than my pediatrician was concerned. I was like a lunatic trying to sterilize everything and washed my hands until they were raw. I would just mention it to your ob but I don't think its a huge deal.

Was pregnant when DD had it, it wasn't a problem . Dr said nothing to worry about, just make sure to wash hands often and try not to have a close contact (kiss, hug) for a few days.

i was around the same point. definitely no more than 10 weeks along when they goy it. you'll be fine  Congratulations!!
