when do you start putting a sleep sack on your lo at night?
I know its been nice during the day but cold at night. When do you start using a sleep sack? I'm paranoid he's too cold...at the same time being paranoid if I put one on hell be too hot! Right now he sleeps in a t-shirt, socks andcotton footie pjs. He seems fine but is cold in am when I get him....hands, feet cheeks. I know its not an indicator of his body temp...just wondering what everyone else does.

My twins slept in the light weight sleep sacks all summer. Then they were wearing just a onesie, or just a diaper. Now they are in feetie pjs and a light weight sleep sack. I need to get the heavier ones.

I use the sleep sack all year. In the summer, I had a cotton sack. Now that it's cooler out, I use the fleece sleep sacks. My DD wears the feetie pj's all year too.

Me too....we use the sleepsack all year. Keeps her warm in the a/c over the summer and warm on these cold nights. We keep a cold house over the winter.

It depends on the day. I always check the low temp for the night before dressing DD for bed. Some nights the low is predicted to be 43 and other nights 60. We have cotton sleepsacks, fleece sleepsacks, and the carters fleece ones with sleeves. So we pick based on the temp but she almost always wears one.

We use them all year long, just different material based on season. We have AC in the summer so it never gets really hot in her room.

DD wears them all year round.. cotton in summer, fleece in fall/winter--- some nights I wont use one and just leeave her in a footie pj and onesie if it is a mild night . I have teh same issue though -- even wuth a sleepsack her hands are still freezing in the am!

DS uses the fleece ones right now. I dress him in cotton pjs and onesie then the sleep sack. I don't think your DC will be too warm.

started when dd was about 10 weeks , exactly when we started having her sleep in her crib since we cant put blankets on her, we bought a sleep sack.
right now she sleeps in socks, onesie, footie pj, and sleep sack. i have fleece sleep sacks and fleece footie pjs for when its really cold.
