Pro pictures for holiday cards

Well it's that time of year and now that we have a baby it's definitely time to start sending holiday cards. I would love to have a professional picture of Holly on our card but in order to get a digital copy everyone I've spoken to charges an arm and a leg. Between sitting fees and a cd with one digital file the cheapest I've found is $150 at Target and that's before I even order the actual cards. Does anyone have suggestions or know of a place with low prices, coupons, etc?

I just posted a groupon for Picture People. The High Res CD with all images is $150 but with the groupon you can get it for $75 and you get a print package too.

From now until the end of November JC Penney has cards for 50 cents each. I believe they are by multiplies of 20. It's an $8 or $9 sitting fee and then you can buy pics if you want. They charge $4 a sheet (one sheet is either 1-8x10, 2-5x7, 4-3x5 or 8 wallets) they have prices for other packages online too.

Thanks to all who have replied!!

Any suggestions of photographers who are offering mini sessions? I've only used Picture People and wasn't totally thrilled with the results.
