Eggs, Earth's Best Granola Bar (like a nutrigrain), cut up fruit, ground meat sauteed with sauce, brown rice, cut up steamed veggies, homemade quesidilla, pasta, thin sliced roast beef/turkey or chicken, meatball...all just cut up really small. We're still working with only two teeth

You can try giving whatever you are eating. I never make anything special for DD nor do I ever give her any baby food. She eats what we eat. The only time I ever make anything different is if we are eating shellfish or anything very spicy.

DS is 17 months. For dinner he eats what DH and I are eating- tonight it is DH's homemade tomato sauce w/ meatballs & pasta. Other ideas- chicken tacos, salmon, chili, marinated grilled chicken (we love trader joe's soy vey marinade), pasta w/ garlic & oil, homemade soups- loves italian wedding & chicken orzo. lunch- Annie's mac & cheese w/ a veggie- usually peas, broccoli, or carrots, chicken & cheese quesadillas, chicken tenders (we buy nature's promise or applegate farms) with sweet potato fries & a veggie, leftover dinner, yogurt- either yo toddler or chobani champions. fresh fruit, kashi cereal bars breakfast- kashi waffles, cinnamon applesauce, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, kashi cereal bars, cheerios, kashi heart to heart cereal
we also love plum organics and earth's best toddler products for snacks.

Re: Food for 1 yr old- need help with ideas
my girls eat lots of different things.
hummus peas carrots, cut small and boiled broccoli with garlic string beans cauliflower sweet potatoes butternut squash mashed apples bananas grapes strawberries toast with hummus cream of wheat egg yolks fried (too young for whites) pasta of all kinds, with pesto, sauce, or olive oil (one of my girls has a dairy issue otherwise we would also use butter) what ever meat we are eating turkey burgers meat balls cheese yogurt
Since having twins and now having opposite work schedules we dont always cook a dinner every night for us. I try to make sure that there is always some fresh veggies and a starch for them in the fridge. And then it is always easy to cook up a fast protein for them.

For breakfast DD gets blueberry waffles, french toast sticks, mini waffles, pancakes, bagel with cream cheese, or cheerios and fruit.
For lunch she gets broccoli bites, spinach pancakes, mac n cheese, pasta with butter and parmesan cheese, veggie burger, chicken nuggets, avocado, etc. She'll also get veggies and a cheese stick. Sometimes some fruit too.
Snack - Yogurt (love the Earth's Best yogurt smoothies!) or cereal bar usually. Sometiems she'll also get something like a graham cracker, cheerios, puffs, etc.
Dinner is generally whatever we eat. Tonight is meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Tomorrow is pasta with meat sauce. The only time she doesn't get what we had is if it's crap food or it's too spicy (like buffalo chicken). In those cases she'll get a grilled cheese, pizza, or anything that she would normally have for lunch.
The only thing DD doesn't eat is eggs. Don't know why, but no matter how I give them to her she spits them right out. And peanut butter - ped says not until she's 3.

eggs, my son LOVES eggs so we give him some quite often yogurt cut up chicken (prepared a bunch of ways, as long as it isnt TOO spicy, he will even eat it a little spicy lol) ground beef (meatballs, meatloaf, with tomato sauce) tofu hummus bread/bagels in small pieces cheese (sliced, shredded, sting cheese cut up--they all work) cut up fruit peas, carrots, corn, beans (he loves anything he can pick up and these are great bc they arent that messy, except when he starts smushign them bw his fingers lol) pizza oatmeal pancakes/waffles/french toast pasta (raviolis, tortellini, pastina with sauce or pureed veggies, we give him lots of different types with peas and carrots, sauce or butter)
Basically at this point I give him whatever we are eating. We have not given him shellfish or PB yet although we were given clearance last week at the doctor. I try not to give him anything too spicy.
