Learning to sit up and napping

So 8 month old DD figured out how to go from laying down to sitting up today....oh joy. She refuses to nap this afternoon. Older DD never did this. How long did it take your DC to get over that they could do something new and go back to napping!

Haha, I remember that stage. You're so proud of them and at the same time you want it to stop!

For my DD, practicing her new "tricks" in the crib never lasted longer than a day or two.

Oh I remember asking that same question when DD started this. She was over it within 2 weeks, maybe even less.
