Won't take vitamin (dropper)
What can I do? We've been giving DS his vitamin via dropper since he was 6m old. After his 18 month checkup, I slacked off on getting his prescription refilled and now that we have it again, he will NOT let me give him the dropper. He purses his lips shut and refuses to the point where he'll start crying if I persist. What can I do? He just turned 2... is he old enough for chewables?
You're not supposed to mix the vitamin into food or drink, right? Help!

I used to put her vitamins in her morning yogurt! She always finished her yogurt so there was no fear of her missing the dosage.
But I did start chewables at about age 2.

You're not supposed to mix in milk or yogurt because calcium inhibits the absorption of iron which is very important when they are little.
I Started ds on chewables at 21 months . I bought otc ones so i braak them in half because it it like that until age 4. He has no problems chewing them or the fluoride ones hes on.
