TMI post about post-baby sexy time

So when I first got preggers I was too nervous to do the hibbetty-dibbety so we only did it a few times. Then later in pregnancy, DH was kinda freaked out. I had a c section in may & since then we've only had sex a handful of times bc it's painful for me. Maybe my cha-cha shrunk from lack of sex over the last year+? I don't have a crazy sex drive but I still wanna be able to do it, if even for my poor DH's sake! Lol!

Anyone else experience this???? Sorry for the TMI heehee

I'm sooooo Glad to hear I'm not the only one with 0 drive. Not a bit of interest at all. I have been pumping for my girls for the past 13 months

Hmmm interesting that breastfeeding/pumping has such an effect on sex drive. I would be ok with it for now but I really feel bad for DH.. He's been such a trooper lol. I guess I'll just have to deal with it & maybe the pain will get better. Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this though.

DD is 18 months and I am still waiting for mine to return! I'm not nursing or pumping.
I want to show to thread to DH tho so he stops thinking I'm the only one.

but is it the pain that keeps you from having sex or just that you have no sex drive?

Lol I don't want to show DH bc when he sees this could go on for 18+ months he might get the divorce papers out! Lol

Well don't have much if a sex drive it I'd do it anyway to make DH happy but sometimes we have to stop bc of the pain. So I guess it's both but more the pain aspect. I'm gonna start singing Madonna "like a virgin" soon lol

I had a csection too and it was painful at first for me too. I kinda suffered through it and gradually it got less painful. Think my body just had to readjust. I'd suggest maybe not letting so much time in between and maybe your body will get used to it more quickly so you can enjoy it again too!

BFing can definitely make PP sex painful even if you had a c-section. It has something to do with the hormones. It can also lower your sex drive. Make sure you're using plenty of lube.

Re: TMI post about post-baby sexy time

I remember my first time doing the deed a month or so after a c section. I didn't think it would be bad since I had a c and that area wasn't effected, but it was painful. I either read it or the OB said something about the fact that even though you didn't push down there that everything is still swollen and sensitive. Made sense bc it was painful. Worse then being a V. LOL

DH was a trooper and really good and patient. Does get better, but yes... Hard to have a sex drive. I have a 3 yr old and 15 month old. Sex drive comes and goes.
Even when the kids are in bed early and we're relaxing I want to sleep Or just chill. Lol
A glass of wine and kids sleeping does help.
