Moms of 2 or more who BFed...can you explain this?
OK so my DD is 11 months old, and I weaned her off BFing a few weeks ago, and have completely stopped for about a week. I have only had my period a couple of times since I started weaning but they have been regular. So now I am about a week late and my breasts are really sore, I am moody, feeling a little sick. Are these typical symptoms? I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was a bfn. I dont know what is going on, I just know something is off. I may just be blabbing, so thanks for listening.

When I weaned DD1 my boobs were sore for a few weeks after. I guess they were just "regulating"? I never had my period or any spotting until after I weaned her, and I didn't feel sick or any other symptoms you posted. Are you on bcp? Maybe that's causing the symptoms?

My DD is 11 mos and I am weaning now too. My nipples were/are sore when I am ovulating and when I was preggo with DD and still BFing DS. He was 9 mos when I got pregnant again and I nursed til he was a year old.
