SUV interior fabric or leather?
What do you think is better for a family vehichle, 4 kids ranging from infant to 5 years? Would love leather but is it practical? I'm sure carseats would ruin the leather unless I put a towel under them. What do you have? Fabric I'm worried about spills, stains.

Re: SUV interior fabric or leather?
I hate leather... Even though it is easier to clean up, I rather have fabric. It doesn't get boiling hot in the sun or freezing cold in the winter.. I use to have fabric in our other mini-van and I just scotch guarded it.... It was easy to clean that way. Now we have leather and it is damaged from where the car seat is.. My son burned him self on it last summer... If we get another van, it will be fabric. You can always get seat covers, but they don't last long..

Leather because it wipes up easier for spills

Re: SUV interior fabric or leather?
LEATHER - SO SO SO easy to clean and it can go back to looking brand new You don't have to stress over spills
The fabric in my toyota cleans up well, but only b/c I clean things immediately and scrub the crap out of it - anything that may have gotten behind the carseat or something .......lost cause on fabric

Re: SUV interior fabric or leather?
Leather all the way...our SUV had fabric and we paid $1200 to have it replaced with leather.

Definitely leather. I can't imagine having to scrub stuff out of fabric. I don't think I'd buy a vehicle again that's not leather, kids or not. It just holds up so much better.

Leather. I have ebony leather in my car and I don't find it's too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. It's so easy to clean up and it bounces back after being molded from the car seats.

Same! We even threw out our fabric sofa for a leather one because of how easy it is to clean up.

Re: SUV interior fabric or leather?
I prefer fabric. I have a PT Cruiser, and a friend of ours with a slightly newer PT has leather seats. Even though we have 2 kids, and an older car, our fabric seats look so much nicer than her leather seats... Leather cracks and ages after a while. I've seen quite a few leather seats look really bad after 7+ years.
