When to do Holiday pictures?
My LO is 2.5 months old. I dont know when to do xmas pictures. I want to wait a little bit b/c he changes so much every week and want the picture sto be as current as possible. I am going to do to Babies R us or Target, some place like that.
When do i get them done? How long do they take? When should i send out?

Im using BRU for our girls pics. I use them 2 years ago for dd 1 st chrisas pics and I waited to to the weekend after thanksgiving the wait was horrendous and I was the 2nd appointment of the day. These type of
Places get really busy. This year I'm doing them early Nov 4 and I got the first appointment of the day. I wouldn't wait until too late in the season.

When to do Holiday pictures?
Don't wait too long, the closer to thanksgiving the worse it gets! I'm going 11/6 and have a 10am appt and am hoping I'm out by noon! Pictures take about a week and I think cards are 10 days (at jc penney)

At that age, I think closer to the holidays is better. I did DD's early November last year, she wasn't even 6 months yet, and think she had changed so much by the time the cards went out. This year I am doing them Thanksgiving weekend.

I try to do pictures by the first week in November, the second the latest. But I also try to send my holiday cards by December 1st.

We are doing a fall mini session at the end of October. I will probably use those pictures for Christmas cards and then take my own pictures of them in their actual outfits.
I'm also having DD2's 1st bday pics taken sometime in November

When to do Holiday pictures?
I used to work in those types of studios. The "holiday rush" starts Nov 1st and gets more intense every day. If you can go during the week, early in the am, you should avoid the crowds. HTH

I have off from work on November 1st so I'm taking DS then. He'll be 8 months on the 2nd so I figured it was the best time to get them done. I want to get them done before these places get too busy!
