If you thought being a FTWM with a part-time job was hard….
I have to say its NOTHING compared to being the FTWD. Today will be my 3rd day at my second job but the 2nd day that he’ll be home with AJ without me.
He’s a saint!
I got home last night at 10pm. I come in and she’s in bed but not asleep so I get some cuddle, kiss, love you time – straight from the door to her room (just kick off the shoes). After like 5mins I leave her to her dreams and step out to get comfy. As I walk out of her room he tells me “Dinner’s on the stove”. I hop into some jammies and sit down to my still mostly warm Salmon and rice dinner. By the time I’m done, he’s out of her room and we can unwind.
By 11:30pm-12 I’m out like a light.
Tonight he’s gonna give her a bath (not new) but dry and brush her hair out (I usually do this) feed her entertain her and leave me dinner again.
We drop her off together in the mornings. I work from 8:30 to 5pm at my first job then 5:30 to 9:30 at the second job. No time for any food between the two jobs. Just BARELY enough time to make the drive over. I am changing that schedule, but for this week it will have to do. I’m on my feet nonstop all night.
I am very grateful for my husband and even more grateful we only have one child. This would be impossible if we had two. Then again, considering I’m doing this with one kid, I think I’d be in much more trouble if I had had two!
Just giving some kudos to my wonderful hubby. Super Dad!

 nice post! Its great that he's supporting you and doing as much as a dad should!
but serious kudos to you as well- it cant be easy to maintain that schedule!

Parenting in general is HARD. Good job to your DH though for supporting you and taking on a little more at night. It's all for a good cause...
