would you...
Hi I have a day care right next door to me at work, same parking lot. I work 40 minutes away - would you put your baby in the day care next door and commute with him or find something close to home ? I have family in both places in an emergency and I was not available.

Re: would you...
I had a similar option. The day care was down the block, and I often right there. I ultimately decided to keep the baby in a daycare near home, and I'm glad I did. On Monday, I'm off from work, but I will be able to drop DD at daycare so that I can get some things done (no snarky comments from the peanut gallery please). Also, if I'm home sick from work one day, DH can bring DD to daycare. I also would hate to be stuck in traffic each day with DD. She has been in daycare for a month now, and I feel like I made the best decision for us.

I had this decision to make. I decided based on the center itself not as much as the location. Have you seen the one next to your office?

when I worked, I had my DD in a daycare closer to home, but on the way to to work. There were times that I did work from home and it was just easier than having to do a 55 minute drive each way.
