My oldest will be 4 in Dec and my youngest is 2.5yrs. The 2.5 ALWAYS hits and annoys my oldest son. Now he's starting to talk back and tell me "No" with a really mean face. I have been doing time outs and even tried getting to his level and telling him firmly that he can not do that. He'll get sad and say "Are you mad at me"...sometime I say yes and other times I say no but you can't do that.

Those that have children close in age...does this pass. They are 15months apart and have a love/hate relationship. The little one just annoys the sh!t out of older.

The 2.5 is an angel when he's at school and at friends houses. When he's in a comfort zone at home or my sisters he'll hit or bother my oldest and even his cousins. I don't get it!
