Hate Mondays! (bad mama self-vent)
Especially when its the first of the month.
Get up AJ, school (dont wanna go) well we need to go. 15mins later she's up.
Finally get her up and dressed, ponytail done, then *I* get dressed, he's already dressed.
He does her shoes then realizes hey its the first of the month, his registration sticker is invalid, let me change it (well I feel you should have done that when you GOT it!, but that's another story)
I use this to get AJ to get out the door. Don't want to go, I'm watching Pirates. So we watch the last 3mins (really what harm can that be?). Meanwhile Im putting my purse it the car.
Finally set the alarm, lock the house, get in the car, pull out of the garage (did I close the door?) double check the garage door and off to school.
Oh wait.. its the 1st. I haven't paid tuition ... oh well who cares? I got 4 more days, right?
Wait, did we pay for her lunch? Yes, oh joy. ok. Did we forget anything? I don't know. We say our good byes to her and off we go in our separate cars to work.
Busy day at work lots of catch up and finding things that tried to slip through cracks.
What happens at 11:30am????
OH...... MY........ GOD!!! AJ's BLANKET! She has nothing to sleep with!!! crap crap crap crap. Text the hubby (yeh, you heard me, i texted so you know its urgent!!)
His response:
Dammit its on the box near the door. When's her nap?
A call later the answer is 12:30 and hubby's snippy response is "Fine I'll drop it off"
I'm a bad mama.
I'm trying to make myself feel better by saying "hey at least i remembered before nap time" then the evil voice says "yeah sure and this the 5th time or so now?"

You are horrible - someone call CPS - NOT!!!! We've all had those mornings and like you, its usually once a week.
I'd be more annoyed with DH for the 'tude. Not like you woke up this morning and said, "How can I inconvenince DH today"?...unless you did

No bad mama vent!
Mondays are horrible and you're a mom and multi-task and do an excellent job of it and sometimes you're allowed to forget. I'd be more annoyed at DH's snippiness.

Thanks that made me laugh.
He's been snippy lately because I've been getting forgetful. Then again I'm taking a lot more on than usual so its all relative. Mr. Passive jibes will get a pass for a bit but sooner or later, I will snap. I just figure that this stuff is less important to me than him so hey.. no sweat off my brow, you wanna get pissy about it, go for it.
Me? I'm eating a crunch snack size bar looking at the rain outside my office window knowing AJ is warm and comfy in her nap so... Meh.
