Cake
I need a little mermaid cake for 15 people for next Saturday - am I too late? Any Recs and how much should I expect to spend?

did you try a baskin-robbins or something of that kind?
they have all those character cakes.
i'm not sure if that's exactly what you wanted, but maybe it could work?

You only need one day for bjs and if you give them a pic they will make whatever u want. Plus it's cheap and not too bad.

I was going to suggest a bakery by me but I'm in Holbrook. Have you tried any of your local bakeries? I'm sure they would be able to do one for you by Saturday.

if floral park is a possibility.. you may want to check out a bakery called buttery cooky in floral park. It is on jericho turnpike. Ive had cakes from there and they are outta sight. May want to check them out. Good luck..

If you are a member of BJs or Costco, just give a days notice.
Try Stop n Shop and I *think* Shop Rite has good cakes too!

Unfortunately, BJ's will not do a copywrited photo. I tried with my Twins' frist birthday to give them a mickey/minnie pic and they would not do it. Maybe Costco will though. But When i went to a regular bakery, they were going to do it for me with no hesitation. They told me i only needed to give them a couple of days notice.

BJs has character cakes. They have Cars and Mickey Mouse. They might have the other Disney Characters. Waldbaums does too.
