Need Toy Recommendations
Can you recommend your favorite toys to help encourage your child to learn letters, or numbers, shapes and/or colors?

Re: Need Toy Recommendations
My son LOVES the Melissa & Doug puzzles - he has the shape, number and alphabet one.
Trader Joe's also makes Letter/Number cookies that are a fun way to learn
My son is in daycare so we don't really do direct teaching.... more indirect through play, food, etc.

Re: Need Toy Recommendations
My DD LOVES the My First Touch and Feel flashcards (good for words but also colors/numbers/etc.) They have a few different sets.
Also, my DD loves the Leap Frog Fridge Phonices Alphabet and also has some wooden puzzles with numbers and letters. She is 21 months and knows almost every letter and some numbers.
